These details for the 2013 Junior Open (North) Championship have been published by the British Aikido Association (BAA).

The championship is on Saturday 16th March.

The events for the Under 12’s, Under 14’s and Under 16’s will start at 9:30am. With the events for the Under 8’s and Under 10’s starting from 12:00 noon.

  • Tanto Avoidance : Combined event with Under 12 years.
 Under 12 Years

  • Randori-no-kata (1-14)
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninindori
  • Tanto Avoidance : Combined event with Under 10 years.
Under 14 Years

  • Randori-no-kata (1-14)
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninindori
  • Tanto Avoidance : Combined event with Under 16 years.
 Under 16 Years

  • Randori-no-kata (1-17)
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko

All Kata will be run on a knock-out flag system. Judging of Tanto Kakarigeiko and Ninindori will remain as previously.

Entry Fee

£8.00 per person.

All entrants must be hold current BAA membership and are asked to bring their Record Books to the championship.
