Youth Syllabus

This is a summary of the BAA Youth Syllabus for young people aged from 10 to 16 years of age.

Young people aged 16 and above should be graded using the Senior Kyu Grade syllabus. The BAA policy is that young people cannot grade to Dan grade (black belt) until they have completed at least 9 months as Senior 2nd Kyu.
