The first British Aikido Association Summer School since Covid, was held from 25th to 27th July 2025 at Ichiban, Leeds. A huge positive step forward into regaining the regularity of this successful event.
Gaz was one of the coaches at the summer school. Other coaches were:

- Vanda Fairchild (4th Dan)
- Andy Rigby (4th Dan)
- Paul Carr (3rd Dan)
Congratulations to the Huddersfield Aikido club members, were successful at their grading:
- AJ – 1st Kyu (Brown Belt)
- Harry – 2nd Kyu (Blue Belt)
- Dan – 2nd Kyu (Blue Belt)
- Martin – 3rd Kyu (Green Belt)
- Katie – 4th Kyu (Orange Belt)
