Phil took part in the Huddersfield Town’s Pedal4Pounds annual charity bike ride. The annual event is known as ‘The Chapman Trail’, in honour of the Huddersfield Town’s legendary manager, Herbert Chapman and has raised approximately £1.2m for the Keep It Up campaign .

For 2014, the Pedal4Pounds was a 250-mile bicycle ride from the Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium to Huddersfield Town Football Club. Phil being an Aikidoka, decided he would first cycle from Huddersfield to Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, before joining the other 300 Pedal4Pounds cyclists in the ride back from Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium to Huddersfield Town Football Club.

After fours days in the saddle, all the 300 cyclists were welcomed by fans at the John Smith’s Stadium for their traditional lap of honour.

The Huddersfield Town’s Pedal4Pounds was mentioned in the Huddersfield Examiner.
