SUMMARY:Joint Aikido Course
DESCRIPTION:Instructors for this course are: \nPiers Cooke 7th Dan (Chairman BAB)  \nPiers started training in 1981/2 and for 17 years or so practiced under Sensei Ken Williams of The Ki Federation of GB\, attaining the rank of 5th Dan. He is co-principal of Aikido in Daily Life. \nHe was awarded 7th by Maruyama Sensei in 2017. \nBob Jones 8th Dan (British Aikido Association)  \nBob Jones is the Chief Executive Officer of the British Aikido Association and has been practising martial arts since 1966 achieving the rank of 8th Dan Sport Aikido\, 4th Dan Traditional Aikido and 1st Dan Judo. He competed for over 20 years gaining several honours both nationally and Internationally.  \nPhilip Smith 7th Dan (United Kingdom Aikikai)  \nPhilip Smith began his Aikido career in 1968 and became a student of T K Chiba (a direct student of the founder of Aikido) in 1970.  \nHe is recognised as a Shihan (master teacher); by the Aikikai Foundation Japan.  \nCost for this course is £15. \nView poster for the Traditional Course – May Ichiban
