From 9 a.m. Close 9.30 a.m. Competition will begin at 10.00 a.m.
All competitors must hold a current BAA licence and bring it for registration on the day. SAUK members and other non BAA Aikidoka are encouraged to participate and should bring proof of their association membership and insurance to participate.
Entry Fee
The fees for this event are:
- BAA Members £20.00 per person
- Non BAA Members £25.00 per person
Embu Events
Open to competitors aged 14 years and over. Competitors may enter two of the three Embu events
Junanahon (1-17) | Kyu grade |
Tanto Junanahon (1-17) | Dan grade only |
Goshin No Kata (1-16) | Any grade |
Jiyu Embu/Open Kata (no weapons) | Kyu grade only |
Jiyu Embu/Open Kata (no weapons) | 1st Kyu and above |
Ninin dori | Kyu grade only. |
Ninin dori | 1st Kyu and above. |
1st Kyu’s can only enter one Ninindori and one Open Kata event.
Randori
Open to competitors aged 18 years and over.
Women’s individual Tanto Randori | Any grade |
Men’s individual Tanto Randori | 1st Kyu and above |
Men’s individual Tanto Randori | Kyu grades |
Tanto Taisakai (14 – 17 years, male and female) | Any grade |
1st Kyu’s can only enter one Tanto Randori event.
