Championship Events

The Under 8s, 10s, 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s events are planned to start from 9:30am.

The events for this championship are as follows:

Under 8 Years

  • Randori-no-kata (1-5)
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninindori
Under 10 Years

  • Randori-no-kata (1-10)
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninindori
Under 12 Years

  • Randori-no-kata (1-14)
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninindori
  • Tanto Avoidance
Under 14 Years

  • Randori-no-kata (1-14)
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninindori
  • Tanto Avoidance (Combined event with Under 16)
Under 16 Years

  • Randori-no-kata (1-17)
  • Open Kata
  • Tanto Kakarigeiko
  • Ninindori
  • Tanto Avoidance (Combined event with Under 14)

All Kata will be run on a knock-out flag system. Judging of Tanto Kakarigeiko and Ninindori will remain as previously.

Entry Fee

£10.00 per person (BAA Member) and £12.50 (Non-BAA Member).

All entrants must be hold current BAA membership and bring their Record Book to the championship.

Entries to be submitted by 17th June.
